What GSM phones work with 2006 BMW 750’s Bluetooth?

What GSM (and UMTS/HSDPA) phones/PDA’s woould work with the Bluetooth interface in my 2006 BMW 750? I now use a Motorola PEBL (same internally as RAZR). I have tried Nokia 6630 and E61 with no success–calls can be made and received, but the phone cannot upload the phone book to the car.

any bluetooth phone should work. there was a big lawsuit about 2.5 years ago when motorola/verizon crippled some of the compatabilities with the bluetooth feature and they paid heavy for it. they should all work now.

if anything, just ask the rep to come to ur car with the phone u want to purchase and pair it up before you buy. i do it for all my customers who ask. if they are unwilling or too busy to do that, you always have the return period to return it but again, i’m sure you wont have to return it becuause it will work.
